A: Absolutely. Your funds are held in a secure, audited settlement account. Deposit Guardian does not "spend" your money; we hold it as an independent third party vault until you confirm the machine is exactly as described.
A: That is exactly why we exist. If the deal falls through, your money is still in the Vault. You simply cancel the transaction, and your purchase funds are returned to your account. The scammer gets nothing.
"What if the deal falls through because of a scammer?"
If our system or our inspectors identify a fraudulent listing or a 'ghost' seller, your Safety Vault Purchase Funds are returned to you in full.
While we do not refund the cost of physical inspections already performed (as the mechanic has completed their work), we do not believe in charging our settlement fee if the deal can't go ahead. We’re here to protect your capital, not profit from your misfortune.
A: Only when you say so. Once you’ve inspected the machine and are satisfied, you click "Release Funds" in your dashboard. We then disburse the payment to the seller instantly.
A: We use local, qualified diesel fitters and mechanics across Australia. They are "boots on the ground" who know exactly what to look for in engine hydraulics, chassis integrity, and VIN verification.
A: To ensure a neutral, independent report for both the buyer and the seller, we use our own network of verified inspectors. This ensures the report is unbiased and professional.
A: The extension is free to download and use for basic listing scans. For deep-dive PPSR title checks and full financial audits, there is a small flat fee of $24.99.
A: We only look at the listing data (Price, Model, Location, VIN and Photos) to help you verify the asset. We do not track your personal browsing history or access your private Facebook data.
A: High-value transactions incur significant bank processing fees. To keep our service costs low, we pass these bank surcharges directly to the user. To avoid these fees, we recommend paying via PayID or Local Bank Transfer.
